The Neodymium magnet (Nd-Fe-B, namely an alloy of neodymium, iron and boron) also called permanent magnet, super magnet or rare earth magnet is the most powerful magnet in the world. Neodymium magnets are widely used for numerous purposes requiring an extremely strong and permanent magnetic field, including: building wind generators and turbines, various technological experiments, designs of all kinds of devices and mechanisms, bonding of metal objects, binding together of iron parts, underwater soil research, modeling, metal detector construction, descaling of water, tricks and magic, etc, etc ...
The N degree or N value of the magnet refers to the Maximum Energy Product of the material from which the magnet is made. The N degree indicates the maximum force to which a particular magnet can be magnetized. The unit in which the N-degree is usually expressed is millions of Gauss Oersted (MGOe). The lowest possible N-grade for neodymium magnets is N35, the highest is N52.
Neodymium magnets N38 offer excellent quality without the costs being very high. Previously, in addition to our N38 magnets, we also sold the N52 magnets. After a long-term own investigation and careful consultation with our manufacturer, however, we stopped because the production of N52 magnets is much more expensive because of large quantities of rejected copies. Our N38 magnets are in fact considerably less brittle, which facilitates production and guarantees the durability of the magnet in practice. At the same time, the difference in power between an N38, a N45 and a N52 magnet of the same size is absolutely negligible, it is only a few percent.
Neodymium magnets can interfere with the operation of some devices and should be stored away from them. Think of measuring equipment such as watches, scales, gas and electricity meters, mobile phones, credit cards and bank cards, computers and TV sets etc etc ....
